Require Learner Participation

Day 1 – Students will be introduced to the lesson and groups will be assigned. After the groups are assigned, the students will be allowed time to brainstorm their ideas.  If time allows, they will be able to start their online research.

Day 2 to 8 – Students will be allowed up to 20 minutes a day to do additional research. Students should keep in mind the type of fish they will put in the fish tank, what accessories to use, and how to care for the fish and the tank. While doing their research, students should also research blog sites to best suit their demonstration. Students should also think about how to visually represent their understanding of how to set up and maintain the fish tank.

Day 9 – This is the last day to work on their presentation and tie together loose ends. Students will have the opportunity to do a dry-run for their presentation.

Day 10 – This is the day the students will give their persuasive presentation as to why their design should be chosen for the class fish tank.
